Harley Davidson launches flashing LED police mirrors

Harley Davidson, America's legendary motorcycle manufacturer, has just issued a new feature for its bikes that will place leading lighting technology at the fingertips of its customers. Bike enthusiasts can now choose between red and blue LED lights that act as flashing police mirrors and emergency lights.

"These forged true vision mirrors give you a wide viewing area with the functional addition of forward-facing eye-level emergency lighting designed to command the attention of oncoming motorists," reads the company statement.

The LED police lamps fit any Police models made between 1997 and today, built to easily connect to Original Equipment wiring and blend seamlessly into the rest of the model.

According to AutoEvolution.com, Harley Davidson is also offering customers the opportunity to test ride its Police motorcycle through June 30 and also get a chance to attend a free session of a Northwestern University Center for Public Safety Police Operator or Instructor course.
