Elizabeth Arden HQ gets innovative LED chandelier
Feb 28th 2012
Elizabeth Arden headquarters is now the home of an innovative chandelier design featuring real perfume bottles lit by LED lights.
The Stamford, Connecticut-based company recently undertook a massive project to rebuild and rebrand its 500,000 square foot headquarters with a series of new and unique design touches, including the impressive lighting fixture. The new chandelier represents a kind of sculpture, constructed from 92 glass perfume bottles and illuminated by nearly 100 tiny LED bulbs.
Lighting designer Randy Sebedra called the chandelier "magic."
"The chandelier is a perfect example of collaboration between designer, owner, and manufacturer," Sebedra said.
Sebedra is right – LED lighting is a great way to add a little magic to any space. Colorful LED rope lights are an excellent way to brighten up your living areas, whether you prefer them in red, blue, yellow or classic white. They're a great addition to an entertainment center, bar, or backyard, and they look great strung on a patio or balcony.
Plus, because LED lights are so durable, you won't have to worry about replacing them for years to come – so feel free to get as creative with them as Elizabeth Arden did.
