The Instore Magazine's Smart Jewelry show is one of the biggest trade shows in the industry, and it is also a great place for people to share ideas. This year, one of the biggest seminars tackled the effect of LED lighting and its role in working with multiple wavelengths of light to make diamonds and jewels appear brilliant.
The session featured a panel of experts that spoke to the increased marketability of jewelry with proper lighting and innovative display areas. Howard Gurock, president of Ex-Sell-Ence, is a big-time marketing professional and his talk on the use of LED lighting in jewelry sales really opened some eyes.
Gurock explained that LEDs offer energy-savings for their business and in the long-term could reduce their maintenance costs as opposed to incandescent lights. LEDs have been known to make diamonds appeal dazzling, simply by being able to work with varying light hues in ways that the old style bulbs can't match.
Business owners can spruce up the look of their own store with cost-effective LED accent lighting. LED strip lights come in various colors and can attach to any flat surface with their 3M adhesive strip.
