Shipping Policy – Birddog Lighting

Due to circumstances beyond our control, packages shipped via UPS and USPS may experience longer than normal delivery times. Your patience and understanding are appreciated.

We offer UPS (United Parcel Service) and USPS (United States Postal Service) ground and express shipping. For guaranteed delivery times, please choose an express option. For larger items and larger orders, freight carriers may be utilized. Rates are based on the weight and size of the item(s) and your location, and are shipped with mandatory insurance included in the shipping price. Shipping times may be subject to change due to severe weather or other conditions that interfere with normal processing and transport.

APO / FPO Orders

  • APO/FPO shipments are sent via USPS Priority Mail only.
  • Customs forms are required for all APO/FPO shipments greater than 16 ounces.
  • The customer is responsible for any duties and fees associated with the purchase.

International Orders

  • International orders will be shipped via UPS.
  • Customs forms are required for all international shipments greater than 16 ounces.
  • The customer is responsible for any duties and fees associated with the purchase.

Rush Order Option (Same Day Shipping)

  • If the Rush Order option is selected, Birddog Lighting will process and ship your order the same business day.
  • A $15 service charge applies.
  • Orders must be received by the cutoff time (10 a.m. MST online, 2 p.m. MST by phone).
  • Rush Order Processing speeds up order handling, not carrier transit times.
  • Service may be refunded if conditions beyond our control prevent fulfillment.

Shipping Rates

  • Rates and options can be calculated once items are added to your cart.
  • Some services may not be available for Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Processing and Delivery

  • In-stock items ship within 1–2 business days.
  • Tracking information is emailed when available.
  • UPS and USPS do not guarantee delivery times for standard ground service.
  • Birddog Lighting is not liable for lost, stolen, or late packages.

Freight & Accessorial Charges

  • Customers are responsible for all freight costs associated with product shipments.
  • Any accessorial charges (including but not limited to liftgate service, inside delivery, residential delivery, limited access delivery, storage, redelivery, or appointment scheduling) that are authorized by the customer or incurred due to delivery circumstances will be billed to the customer.
  • Failure to pay such charges may result in referral to a collections agency, and the customer shall remain liable for all associated costs, including collection fees, attorney’s fees, and court costs.
  • By placing an order, the customer expressly agrees to accept financial responsibility for all freight and accessorial charges related to their shipment.
