Miniature LED lights to help consumers get to hard-to-reach places

Although many people are already using LED rope lights, string lights and bulbs in their homes, few are aware of the other types of LED fixtures that could be benefiting their lives in additional ways. One of these items is the Pop-up MicroLite, developed by MicroLite Tech.

The Pop-up MicroLites can be simply pushed to provide illumination to whatever they may be attached to, whether it's metal, plastic or cloth. MicroLite Tech says that the product is one of the smallest of its kind, and it can provide illumination in those hard-to-reach places, such as in a car glove compartment or in a small cabinet.

"We expect nationwide retail placement in Canada and the U.S. by early 2012 and the response from both consumers and retailers has been fantastic. Micro-lighting really is an entirely unexplored product category with lots of room for new innovation," said John Teel, MicroLite Tech founder and CEO.

LED rope lights, string lights and bulbs continue to revolutionize the way Americans illuminate their living spaces. These fixtures are energy-efficient and can help reduce utility bills over time as well.
