Waiven debuts its new technology pertaining to LED lights

Although more manufacturers are developing LED rope lights, string lights and bulbs for consumers, not everyone is sold on the idea of using these energy-efficient alternatives to incandescents. Most people are content with sticking with their old ways, and as a result, more LED companies are working to educate the general public on the advantages of LED lights.

Recently, Wavien Inc. debuted its Recycling LED Technology (RLT) at the LDI tradeshow in Orlando, Florida, at the end of October. The goal of the company's new LED products is to show how brightness can be achieved through sustainable means, rather than relying on incandescents, which waste more energy.

"RLT is Wavien's Recycling Light Technology, a compact, low-cost, passive component technology that increases over 2 times the useable light output of conventional LEDs by collecting high angle-led generated light, that would be wasted in conventional illumination systems, and redirecting it into a more compact, useful, and brighter beam," said Kenneth Li, the president and CEO of Wavien.

As more people are informed of the benefits of LED rope lights, string lights and bulbs, a number of Americans are expected to make the switch to these energy-efficient alternatives.
