LED strip lights and rope lights continue to be popular among homeowners
When LED rope lights and strip lights originally hit store shelves, many people were looking to use these fixtures for practical purposes around the house. Because they are easy to install, homeowners began placing LED rope lights and strip lights under cabinets in kitchens and bathrooms to provide a soft glow.
LED lights have come a long way and now have many purposes, but people are still interested in using these fixtures to add elegance to their living spaces. Recently, Tech Lighting announced the development of a new under-cabinet light that can provide ample illumination in the home. The Unilume LED Undercabinet System can be easily installed anywhere from kitchens to bathrooms.
"Under-cabinet lighting was one of the first applications to go LED," said Tech Lighting's General Manager, Josh Weiss. "Since then, with the majority of under-cabinet fixtures designed around traditional under-cabinet housings, there has been little in the way of innovation."
Although LED lights now come in many sizes and shapes with different purposes, there still appears to be a demand for versatile fixtures that can be used in living spaces. LED rope lights and strip lights are also known for being energy-efficient.
