Compact LED wall light pack helps illuminate outdoor spaces
When people think of energy-efficient fixtures, LED rope lights and string lights for decorating during the holiday season typically come to mind. However, these lights have come a long way since they first debuted as a way to go green. Now, more manufacturers are creating LED fixtures for multiple purposes around the house.
Recently, Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com announced the development of an LED wall light pack that is designed to withstand the elements outdoors. The LEDWP-50 compact light is more efficient and brighter than a standard 50-watt halogen light, in addition to being waterproof. Users can utilize the fixture to brighten everything from walkways to gardens.
"The electronics in this unit allow it to operate with common 110-277 VAC current without the need of additional transformers. This light is waterproof and built to resist the damaging effects of an outdoor environment," said Rob Bresnahan, a representative from Magnalight.com.
LED rope lights, string lights and bulbs are growing in popularity as a result of individuals who are looking to reduce their carbon footprints, as well as their utility bills over time.
