CUTTING INTERVALS:

The length of your 12V LED strip light is customizable and may be cut to size in specific intervals only.
Can’t find the mark? For more info on cutting intervals please contact your supplier.

Never attempt to cut or install other accessories while 12V LED strip lights are plugged in to a power source.

Using the cutting interval length, measure from the power cord connection or the end of your strip light and you will find copper pads (with or without a dotted cut line) that indicates where it is safe to make your cut.

Use scissors or a knife to make a perpendicular cut in the center of the copper pads or along the cut mark (if applicable).

WARNING: IF USING STRIP LIGHTING OUTDOORS, BE SURE TO USE WATERPROOF PVC OR SILICON TO SECURE ALL CONNECTIONS AND POWER CORDS.

WARNING: 12V LED STRIP LIGHTS PRODUCE EXCESSIVE HEAT OPERATING WHILE SPOOLED. FULLY UNSPOOL LED LIGHTS BEFORE OPERATION. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE STRIP LIGHT AND OR PROPERTY.

NOTE: LED STRIP LIGHTS ARE POLARIZED. IF THEY DO NOT LIGHT UP WHEN YOU FIRST PLUG THEM IN, QUICKLY UNPLUG THE POWER CORD AND FLIP THE POWER CONNECTOR 180˚ OR INSERT THE POWER CONNECTOR IN THE OPPOSITE END OF THE STRIP LIGHT.

USING IP22 SNAP CONNECTOR:

Cut strip light at the cut mark using the “Cutting Interval” instructions above.

Peel back the adhesive tape backing enough to accommodate the connector.

Insert strip light under the two tabs so that they make contact with the copper pads.

Close the connector ensuring that it is snapped closed and the strip light is secure.

Apply shrink tubing to all connections (optional).

Opening IP22 Snap Connector: gently pull snap side opening outwards over the ridge to open. To close apply pressure to top of connector on the opening side until the opening tab snaps in place.
