This is an effective tool when you want full control over the brightness of your lighting system. This two channel dimmer works great for rope lighting but will work on virtually any standard 120V lighting product.

Features:

  • 2 Channel dimmer controller
  • 2 Polarized receptacles
  • 120 Volt, 7.5 Amps per channel, 900 Watts per channel

Was disappointed at first when i found the wrong controller had been shipped. I ordered the 2 channel dimmer but received a 2 channel flasher instead. What impressed me was how Birddog immediately corrected their mistake by sending the right item out via Priority Mail, along with a prepaid envelope to return the first controller. Mistakes can happen, but making things right quickly says a lot about a company. Birddog gets an "A" for service and integrity. The dimmer itself works great and will help us create different moods on our porch. It seems well made, is compact and functions nicely.

Advantages: Simple, compact device, easy to use. Increases versatility of our LED ceiling lights.

Disadvantages: None

I purchased this dimmer for an outdoor LED lighting project for my home where I installed the LED rope lights (soft white)under my roof eaves. I was looking for just a soft hue of down lighting to accentuate the multiply roof lines of my home. I keep the dimmer down to the lowest settings which gives an amazing serene lighting effect. I constantly have people driving or walking by my home asking how I achieved this effect.

Advantages: The advantages of the dimmer are obvious, meaning that I did not want the eave lighting to look like christmas lights rather than classey landscape lighting. I will probably tyrn the dimmer controller up for the Holiday season combined with my other Holiday lighting.
